Canadians are not generaly afraid of the dark but as like ever nation each person is diffrent and im sure some people are in fact scared of the dark but to ask if an entire country is afraid of the dark is just ubsurde the joke came from a canadian childrens show freatureing creppy story’s and its was named “Are you afraid of the dark?” next time you have a question like this think it over becuase its just stupid.

Please don’t let Justin represent Canadians haha. I believe the idea that Canadians are afraid of the dark came from the fact that the Americans first landed on the dark side of the moon and Canadians first landed on the light side. I believe so but I’m not too sure.
It was just a joke told on the Television show “How I met your Mother” in the USA.
